The back story to this signature line is as personal as the clothes themselves. A second generation student of Guruji, Shri BKS Iyengar, Roshen began her study of yoga at the Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Yoga Institute in Pune in 1979 in the children's class. Her family co-sponsored (along with DK publishers) and wrote the benchmark book, Yoga: The Path to Holistic Health; donating their share of proceeds to Guruji's rebuilding of his home town in Bellur, Karnataka. Roshen is on the cover of the original "The Path to Holistic Health". Now that her children are college bound, she is free to pursue her passion of sensible yet elegant clothing, the kind she would love to live in.

Sacred Lotus clothing evolved out of her desire to create yoga wear that is stylish, practical and most importantly modest. The clothes designed for class and practice are all branded with the "Infinitely Iyengar" logo. A portion of the profits from their sale go directly to Guruji for his Bellur Trust, where he is currently building a college for not only his village but also the entire surrounding district. The After-Yoga wraps and cover-ups take you stylishly from class to street. They drape attractively and are not only perfect for covering up with after class, but are elegant enough to be worn for any occasion.
